At Roberts Tabernacle, the 2nd Sunday of each month is set aside to celebrate missions. We receive an offering for partner nations / missions supported by Roberts Tabernacle Ministries. Currently we support mission works in Israel, Cyprus, an orphanage in Rwanda and an HIV/Aids orphanage in Kenya.
Just as Jesus fed the 5ooo with 5 loaves and 2 fishes, we can feed many more than we think we can. Can we take our loaves and our fishes and serve someone who hasn’t eaten yet?
Our Pastor, Tim McCaleb and his family recently returned from a mission trip to Peru. They travelled to the northeastern corner of Peru to the headwaters of the Amazon River and a town called Iquitos. There are no roads leading into the city. Boats and planes are the only access to this Amazon city. Once they arrived, they were warmly greeted by the people of Iquitos. After one whole week of ministry and fellowship they were sad to see Bro. McCaleb’s family leave. Others in the group stayed on to continue work on a church building and other projects started due to our partnership with the people of Peru.
